Tender Opportunity – Solar PV Installation

Runflat International is inviting suitably qualified and experienced contractors to submit tenders for the design, supply and installation of a roof-mounted solar photovoltaic (PV) system across its facilities.

As part of our ongoing investment in the business, we are looking to install a solar PV system to help reduce energy costs and carbon emissions across our operations.

Proposed Scope

The proposed system will have an approximate capacity of 250 kWp and will comprise:

  • Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of a roof-mounted solar PV system of approximately 250 kWp.

  • Solar arrays distributed across four roof areas on two buildings, mounted roof-parallel on both south- and north-facing pitches at approximately 25°.

  • Total module area of approximately 1,100 m².

  • 2 × 100 kW three-phase inverters (benchmark: Ginlong Solis S5-GC100K), including mounting systems, DC and AC cabling, protection, isolation, generation metering and monitoring.

  • Full system design and structural verification.

  • DNO application, liaison and approval.

  • MCS or equivalent certification.

  • Scaffolding, access arrangements and all necessary health and safety measures.

  • Testing, commissioning and system handover.

  • Full operation and maintenance documentation and handover information.

The indicative annual generation from the proposed system is approximately 219,000 kWh.

Tender Requirements

Quotations should include:

  • Full schedule of proposed equipment and manufacturers.

  • Itemised pricing.

  • Indicative equipment lead times.

  • Proposed installation programme and timescales.

  • Details of relevant experience and qualifications.

  • Details of warranties and guarantees.

  • A priced option for ongoing operation and maintenance.

  • Details of any assumptions, exclusions or proposed alternatives.

The equipment specified above is indicative only. Runflat International will consider alternative equipment and solutions where equivalent or improved performance, quality and value can be demonstrated.
